(and Adults Too!!!)

Welcome to the Martial Arts for Kids, a proud member of the traditional martial arts school known as the Moo Duk Kwan.  The Moo Duk Kwan school, and the Martial Arts for Kids program, teaches its students the art of Tang Soo Do, a classical Korean art well over two thousand years old.  Tang Soo Do combines power with grace and balance, using the empty hand and foot fighting method.  Tang Soo Do has been called many names as it evolved in the last two millenniums: Hwa Rang Do, Moo Sul, Kyuck Too Ki, Soo Bahk Ki, Soo Byuck Ki, Taek Kyun, Soo Bahk Do, and Tae Kwon Do.

Martial Arts for Kids offers a program that introduces students to basic blocks, kicks and other defensive body techiniquesCo-ordination, balance, endurance, concentration, and control are just a few aspects emphasized.  The program deals with the concept of self-esteem and the building of confidence. Lessons are given in a supportive, yet disciplined atmosphere.  Determining right from wrong, maintaining a courteous manner and a respectful attitude, persisting and remaining open to challenge are all stressed.  Natural leadership is cultivated.

Whatever brings us to a martial arts training class, be it sports fun and enjoyment or perhaps a more rigorous agenda of self defense, the staff at the Martial Arts for Kids will do its best to ensure your success.
